TurboSalesandLeasing.com 2 New TICO Pro-Spotter Model Features Upgrades for Drivers Turbo Begins Work on 2,500-foot Office Expansion Turbo Sales & Leasing (TSL) is expanding and reorganizing its Gainesville, Georgia, headquarters to improve efficiency and work flow – and ultimately help customer communications and response times. As part of our 2,500-foot expansion, TSL will create a large work room that we’re nicknaming the “Dog House.” The open-office concept will bring Sales, Fleet Management, Maintenance and Operations divisions all together into one large room. “It will be a much more efficient and collaborative layout for what we do,” says Chris Smith, Turbo Sales & Leasing’s Vice President of Dealer Operations and General Manager. “As we expand our space, we are also reorganizing to improve our communications at the same time.” Chris added that the renovation will reduce downtime in the same manner that TSL focuses on minimal downtime for its terminal tractor and trailer customers. “We’re always focusing on elimination of downtime for our customers, and now I guess you could say we’re doing the same for our own team,” he says. “With all our operations in one room, we can react in real time to customer needs to keep them up and running.” The 2018 model features 30 percent more visibility out of the front windshield. Side visibility for the driver has been improved. The sliding side window has been replaced with an electric window that opens downward. TICO, our biggest-selling terminal tractor brand, has made several safety and comfort improvements to the cab of this year’s Pro-Spotter. Most noticeable is that the 2018 model features 30 percent more visibility out of the front windshield. In addition, the cab is larger with six more inches of extra leg room added. TICO has also improved side visibility for the driver by replacing the sliding side window with an electric window that opens downward. This change allows the driver to see the side mirror better because it eliminates the bar in the middle of the former slide window. There also was an important change related to engine maintenance. The Power Distribution Center (PDC) has been moved from the catwalk to the front of the cab. This enables easier access for regular upkeep of the PDC. Individually hand-built at TICO headquarters in Savannah, TICO Pro- Spotters are the most reliable terminal tractors in the industry. Let our sales team tell you more about the benefits of using TICO Pro-Spotters. They are built to last. The Power Distribution Center (PDC) has been moved from the catwalk to the front of the cab. This allows for easier access for regular upkeep of the PDC.
