Turbo Sales & Leasing

TurboSalesandLeasing.com 1 Customer Spotlight: Brown Trucking One of our customers, Brown Trucking Company of Lithonia, Ga., was among TICO’s first customers in 2008 when TICO began manufacturing terminal tractors for customers outside of its own fleet. Brown Trucking originally had twelve yard-tractors and needed to replace a few. After seeing a demonstration of TICO’s tractors, they decided to order three TICOs. Brown particularly liked the simpler and cleaner design of the TICO terminal tractors as compared with competitors. To this day, Brown Trucking is one of TICO’s most loyal customers and the company continues to rely on TICO’s American-made terminal tractors to manage its yard. Besides TICO quality, the company’s over-and-beyond service is another major draw. “The first time one of the tractors broke down, TICO sent one for us to use and took the broken one back to their repair facility to fix it,” says Brian Kinsey, of Brown. “That was different from any previous experience we’ve had with a warranty claim on a tractor. TICO’s excellent customer service left a very positive impression.” Brown’s first three TICO terminal tractors performed well enough that the company has boosted its yard-tractor fleet to 40 TICOs over the past nine years. The company has witnessed many improvements with the newer TICOs such as LED lights, EPA-compliant exhaust components, and galvanized frames. The trucks still prove to be very reliable and popular with Brown’s drivers. Brown has even refurbished two of its original three tractors and expects them to be around for at least another 12 years. Brown Trucking counts on the reliability of TICO terminal tractors, and we appreciate their confidence and support!
